# Getting Started

1. Join the [SolRadar Telegram channel](https://t.me/SolRadarTrendings)
2. Read the pinned Hall of Fame / Daily Recap message to understand current performance
3. When an alert comes in, review the safety line (mint/freeze status, holder count, liquidity lock) before doing anything
4. Use the quick-buy buttons (Trojan / Maestro / BONKbot) if you choose to act, or copy the contract address to your wallet of choice
5. Always do your own additional research — see the [Risk Disclaimer](#page-7-risk-disclaimer)

### A note on the bot vs. the channel

Alerts are posted exclusively in the Telegram channel — there is no way to subscribe to alerts via direct message. The SolRadar bot itself is reserved for advertisers placing a promoted listing. This is intentional: it keeps everyone in one place, and keeps the channel's subscriber count an honest reflection of the audience.

### Reading an alert

Every alert shows: tier tag, token name/symbol, market cap, all-time-high, volume, recent price change, pool age, liquidity lock status, mint/freeze status, holder count (linked to Solscan), and the contract address. Early-stage alerts also show deployer wallet history where available.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://solradar.gitbook.io/docs/getting-started.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
